The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the largest industry gathering for agencies, advertising and communications professionals from around the world. This year again, Baden-Württemberg International (bw-i), together with its cooperation partners MFG Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg, Netzwerk Kreativwirtschaft Baden-Württemberg and Film Commission Region Stuttgart, organized a delegation trip to Cannes for the eighth time.
The BW Lions will fly to Southern France again next year to inform themselves about the latest trends and establish international contacts at one of the most important industry meetings worldwide from 22 to 26 June 2020. Baden-Württemberg is the only German state to travel to Cannes with its own delegation.
The programme is aimed at company and agency representatives from various sectors of Baden-Württemberg’s creative industries, in particular communications, media, film, games and design. In addition, representatives who work as communication and/or creative managers in companies that are not part of the creative industries can participate. Both established and young, as yet unknown and smaller companies as well as freelancers will be considered for the selection. Especially the diverse mix within the delegation has proven itself in the past years. Ideally, synergies and potential for future cooperation can be created within the delegation itself.
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity offers numerous opportunities to find out about current and future trends in the industry and to network internationally through workshops, exhibitions, screenings and award ceremonies. The company representatives are also ambassadors and representatives of their sub-sector and of Baden-Württemberg as a creative location in Cannes.
